Headers are actually like 100 bucks on eBay. And what do you need extensions for?

Dude... You need to be more specific... So you want a complete exhaust system/or 1 of the 3 after market headers... And you want an extended swing arm.

You might be able to find the headers if your lucky... But good luck on the swing arm, most people here look down on those.

When I mean headers I just want the 1 piece. No midpipe or exhaust. I've seen the akaprovic headers for like 700 on eBay.

nd yes I know they do. But I already found someone to make em for me

Or you can contact Coneeng.com and get a merge collector and bullet, cut your header and weld on the merge collector with a nice piece of straight 2" piping to get rid of the exup and cat and bam! You are good to go, although they are not titanium like the akra, arrow, etc. It will get the job done.

What's this bullet you talking about? And yeah I see that post about it. How much gains does the merge collector give you?

http://coneeng.com/collector_components.html

Depends on the tune ofcourse, but people have seen good gains last most notibly in this thread gained 2hp just with the modified headers, and then gained additional HP when it was retuned.

I am looking for a tuneecu tuner in my area once I get my bike back together I should have some numbers to add to that thread.

Dave63 went from 105hp to 116hp with his mods and tune, very nice numbers for a 1st gen.

This. A lot of people that use the Cone Engineering collector end up gaining more power modifying their stock header and getting a dyno tune than they do with a full exhaust. However a lot of people are too cheap to get a tune and then complain because there isn't an off the shelf tune that will make their bike run perfect. The collector will set you back around $60 bucks shipped, then the only other cost is for the welding. My old roommate is a mad scientist when it comes to fabricating so he hooks me up, but even when people have to pay to have it done it costs them less than $100 bucks. DIY is scary for a lot of people but it will save you a ton of money in the long run.
