Police checkpoints are already illegal in Oregon and Washington.
I did sign though.

This is a controversial topic indeed.
I personally would not be affected if the check points are there or not. However with the amount of illicit motorcycles on the road I'm not surprised that these actions are being taken. Let alone that but the behavior of motorcyclists on the road behaving lawlessly has motivated law enforcing entities to react in such a way. |

I still think they should put a little stricter laws on being able to buy a motorcycle, but that is just me, I like Australia's law of starting small and going bigger over time if wanting to.
