Just got a Street Triple in Atlanta, GA

Just got a 2008 Street Triple in Roulette Green. Holy crap this bike is a rocket!

And easy to control too.

My previous bikes were a Suzuki Wee-Strom and a Kawasaki Versys. Great bikes, but I wanted something sportier. I still wanted the upright riding position without all the plastic fairing. Not many options from Japan, so I went European.

100 horsepower at 11,000 rpm is much more fun than 65 horsepower at 7,000 rpm!

In comparison to the Japanese motors, the 600cc four cylinders don't have enough torque. The twins don't have enough horsepower. Triumph has really nailed it with these 3-cylinders. Just right.

I'm in the Marietta area. I plan on hitting some North GA mountain twisties when the weather gets better. Fortunately for us here in the south our bikes don't sit in the garage all winter.

I too am in marietta. Off 120 in east cobb. Heated liner, mine never sits up more than a couple days. Pm me. Ive been talking to another guy in the area about getting together
