Question rizoma mirror adapters

Hello,

Anyone know why there are 2 different mirror adapters for the rizoma mirrors?

1 for the 06-08 and 1 for the 09+?

I thought the mirrors were the same in all models 06-12

ex.

For the tomok mirrors:
BS724B adapter -> 06-08 model
BS777B adapter -> 09 + model

thanks...!

The nose of the bike was altered in '09. Slightly different shape, different headlights, and the louvers over the air intake.

I think the adapters themselves have a slightly different shape.

The mirrors and bolt pattern are the same, so both adapters will fit.

I have used the BS778B with Sport Prototype mirrors on my 2012 675R the fit is perfect no issues at all That same combo came off my 2007 CBR 600 RR .
If you go to this link you will see the difference between the different style of Adaptos

BTW the BS777B has the same style as the BS778B but its simply smaller in length by a fre MM

The difference in length is not that much the main issue if the holes for the adatptors lining up with the holes on the upper itself if I were you I would send an email to PJ http://www.pjsparts.com/catalog/contact_us.php and get his advise I personally believe both of them will work but PJ will know for sure
