Default Single can undertail exhaust..

Has anyone seen a streety with a single undertail muffler? The current stock setup is 3 to 1 to 2. Can I, right before the midpipe splits, cut, and weld on a single muffler, say the Daytonas arrow...?

Buy the one for sale on here and try it. I don't see why not.

Not enough clearance under the Street Triple stock tail .........unless you want to install this rear wheel

D&D used to make a single high can set up but the muffler was mounted in the right side stock position, not under the tail... they didn't sell many so stopped making them.

Tell me about that rear wheel.

You're 100% about that clearance issue? Just bursted my bubble...what are the requirements when it comes to the clearance?

My bike, sitting on the side stand currently has 138mm of clearance between the tire and under seat pan. As stock the standard Street Triple has 126mm of rear suspension travel, the R 130. As stock many who don't spin the clamps around have the Triumph ST3 rear hugger hit the band clamp bolts at the mid pipe split, so not much room to work with under there.

So rotate the clamp, but then wouldnt the muffler be up against the underside of the tail?

What I'm saying is that there is barely clearance for the pipe let alone a muffler under the tail. Yes I rotated the clamp to get clearance but it really didn't stick out much. If you want a single muffler in the center then you'll want to swap the rear subframe with one off a Daytona.
