What did you get for Christmas?
Title says it all what did you get given or buy yourself bike or non bike related for x-mas.
Ill start galfer rotors front and rear and new front pads.

I know I got some things. A* Leather Jacket and Pants (connect for 2pc suit), Cortech Boots, Sena SMH-10, Garmin GPS, A* SP-1 Gloves and should be buying a Shoei X-12 soon...

I just bought a new 5wt from a newer USA company called Flying Pig. It is their first rod and its amazing, well worth more than they are selling it for. 200US, and they are selling so fast I got the last one till March. Then bought me some Korker wading boots so I can change out the bottoms which will be nice.

Nice. I also bought a domestic 5wt two months ago, really nice rod that didn't break the bank. Next up is a 2wt small stream outfit, as that's what I'm mostly fishing. But for now the 5wt has to make do, spent way too much on other tackle this month in preparation already.
Still need to get a nice wading outfit, luckily our waters aren't that cold, so if you're happy with getting wet, you're okay. Damn me and my expensive hobbies! Looking to catch a couple of wild browns and rainbows the weekend on waters very rarely fished. They won't be big, trophy fish, but it's going to be a challenge either way! As for the topic at hand, I don't know what I'm getting for Christmas, apart from a new Leatherman. Hoping for cash, mostly! |
