Default Jardine RT-1

Does anybody know of a UK based stockist of Jardine RT1 exhausts for the Daytona 675?

I've looked everywhere and they are not too badly priced in the states however the shipping costs are the killer.

I stumbled across and MCN article stating Jardine exhausts coming to the UK back in 2009 however I cannot find a seller.

Thanks in advance.

I can't help sorry. I sold one from my bike a couple of years back as it was too loud for the road and they didn't make a DB killer for it. It was purchased on a group buy on this forum by the previous owner. Not sure what the postage to the UK was though.

Only posting to advise you it's pretty loud and you may get unwanted attention. Also track days would probably be a no no as I doubt it would pass the noise test. I'd suggest an Arrow with a baffle. Much easier to get hold of.

I have an RT-1. It is admittedly on the loud side, but it hasn't attracted any unwanted attention on the road, and I've done track days (VIR) with no issue. Might not fly at some of the more restrictive tracks, but so far so good.

Jardine are known for their loud screaming exhaust. I've had jardine on all of my previous bikes. Cbr900 rt-one, cbr f4I gp1 shorty. No jardine on my 675:(

Both Matt.long1980 and myself are in the UK where bikes are noise tested before going on track at every track now. Most tracks also have a drive by sound meter. Unless it's a 105db day, I think it would struggle to pass.

Wow that's crazy strict over there.

The circuits are under a lot more pressure these days to keep the noise down. It's not worth running a noisy pipe as you may not get on track. I can live with a quieter exhaust noise if it means I can still ride on track. At the moment I am running a standard can on my track bike. Although I have just bought a second hand Arrows with baffles, which I will run with them in.

Some circuits (Donington Park definitely) have a noise meter hooked up to the local council offices and if they go over the limit then they get a hefty fine. So they are very strict with anyone going over the limit.

A quick bump to see if any one in the UK has one. Really want one for my bike now.
