My rivnut is ruined after crossthreading the damned seat bolt for the 1,000th time. It actually totally came out of the mounting hole in the subframe. Does the bracket type replacement from the newer bikes fit onto a 2006 or am I hosed?

Problem is I swap the passenger seat for the solo cowl constantly. I know the rivnut will just fail again. I've seen alternative methods but was curious specifically about the newer style clip/bracket fitting on the '06

Just an update - got the newer version that just clips into the subframe (from the newer bikes). Works like a champ! At least now if it strips again it's an incredibly easy swap that can be done in literally 2 minutes at home.
