Default It will take a baby Elephant to knock over this bike

Just saw this BBC video report on a new electric bike that can't fall down by itself, or when bumped into with a decent, but not massive, amount of force. I don't like everything they say about it, but it's an interesting concept to deal with traffic congestion. What do you think?

A different video about this vehicle has been posted before, but it is a pretty cool concept.

It would take a power failure to knock it over. Oh wait why would you have a power failure? It's battery powered after all. Why would anyone ever drive too far in an electric vehicle until it died? Why do people do it every day in gas powered cars? Because they're stupid and don't plan ahead.

The reason people in the USA drive alone in huge cars is because cars are expensive. So they can afford one vehicle. This certainly isn't going to be cheap enough to be a second vehicle that could be used for commuting.
