Default 06 Daytona with a spun rod bearing

Hi, I'm new here and the Daytona is most definitely my dream bike. I found an 2006 Daytona with 11,000 miles for $1250. Which is a steal! However, it seems to have some mechanical problems. The fuel system was completely replaced for $800 by a Triumph dealership and as the title states, it has a spun rod bearing, which the dealership quoted at $200 for parts and $1000 for labor. Now I'm not mechanically savvy at all. Is it worth the hassle to get this bike? Also someone else offered $1400 for it but it is not final. What is a reasonable price to offer, to not go over the regular price of a mechanically sound 06. I'm willing to go up to $2500.

Thanks!

I wouldn't pay more then $1500 for that bike and that's if the rest of the bike is pretty near mint. There's a reason the rod bearing spun. Low oil. If you had low oil then there are likely other wear points as well besides just the rod bearing. It would probably be cheaper to get a used motor and swap them thus the $1500 price I mentioned.
