This winter I was going to mess around with making a custom low boy since I will be doing the merge collector and cat delete. I already have a carbon jardine so this is purely for the sake of boredom (stupid winter). I want to make a pennigale/buell style exhaust have it split at the end and dump out on each side of the bike. I already have a good idea of what I need and should be mocking stuff up like pipe angles and size in a couple of days.
Since I wont be running a conventional muffler like most have with their low boy, I need some advice on what I could possibly use to reduce the dB. I want to run some sort of muffler after the merge collector since I will also be getting rid of the cat and exup, I have some limited room to play with. Here is something that could work if modified, but I am looking at other alternative that are similar to this. Any other ideas? http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/index.php?page=152 also found this... http://www.coneeng.com/mufflers.html

Try these guys. everything you need to build an exhaust: bends, cones, perforated cores, springs, hooks, etc.

Yea felt kind of dumb when I realized they do pretty much everything and I skipped over them... even make custom mufflers. Thanks!
