New Track Bike

Just picked up a new toy for the track. I have not yet done any track days, but have been wanting to and plan on it in the near future, shooting for around spring time. I didn't want to deal with prepping my street bike every time I went to the track and back since I ride it on the street as often as I can, not to mention I'm sure I will crash on the track at some point. So, I found an '01 GSX-R 600 that was track ready for sale by my house. Bike was on a racing team so it has all track essentials, and no street essentials. Motor has 300 miles on it and was built by a local race shop (Lee's Cycles). Suspension done by GP Susp. Mainly though, it is track ready, and was pretty cheap. Anyway, that's it, just posting about the new toy, and I'm super excited about getting to the track in the near future.

That bike looks familiar...did you buy that from a guy named Kevin?

No, might have been his brother though. This bike was raced by a guy named brandon. His family and him owned their race team called Big Papa Racing. It's a pretty familiar bike to a lot of people who have raced or tracked, especially in the SoCal region. He used to run up at willow a lot he said.
