So I've removed my ignition and rewired my (track)bike so that it is keyless, but now I'd like to eliminate the need for a key altogether, since it's quite annoying to have to keep track of a key simply for fueling and seat removal.
The keyless gas cap is an obvious solution, but where I am stuck is how to make the seat removal keyless as well. Has anyone done this? I've searched these here forums far and wide and was surprised to find no info on this potential mod. Any ideas???

I've never seen anybody do it, but it would be simple, just attach a "pull" of some sort on the linkage that's under your seat.

The ones I've seen have taken the cable out of the locking mechanism and cable tied it to the sub-frame. Then you just pull on the cable to release the seat.

Yep, just pull the lock and leave the cable where it is. A simple pull just releases the seat.
Or, get a sbk tail. |

pull the lock out then tie the cable to some ring like a key ring so that the cable wont pull back through the hole and there you go. Just pull the ring to release the seat.
