Tire Pyrometers?
Does anyone care to share their recommendations for a tire pyrometer for the track?
Something that works and is cost effective for a club racer. What are y'all using? |

I use a simple infra red Point and shoot temp gauge. Also use it for our pizza oven, good to take a look at tire temps when getting off of a track to see if you are baking them. But around here the track days I do are usually pretty hot, good for info on cooler days at the track.

I already have a cheapie infra red. Was more interested in finding something that measures with surface contact.
I'm guessing its something tire vendors own and use, more than racers themselves. |
