So i want to get rear spools that will fit a 2012 Street Triple R that work with a Pit Bull - Spooled Forward Handle Rear Stand. What size do I need and where is the best price to be found on these items?
Thanks |

I think from 2011 on the bolt size is 8mm, or PM TJ at RD on this forum, he will probably have the best price on the stand also if you are buying a new stand. Don't get spools that double as sliders they are prone to damaging the swingarm if you have an accident, get the pit bull ones or something similar.

As a side note. Do not run spools without an axle slider. The swingarm is hollow and if you go down on the spools you run a big risk of cracking a chunk out of the swingarm. With axle sliders the sliders should hit first protecting the spools.

These are the ones I got for my 2012 and they work perfect.
http://t-rex-racing.com/catalog.php?item=10 If looking on their site you have to look at the spools under the Suzuki section as those have the 8mm screws. I measured before purchase and it isn't the 6mm like the site has under triumph. |
