New Guy In Town/Forum

Hey guys, I just moved to the NYC area, White Plains specifically from good ol Wisconsin! I currently have a 2007 R1 and am looking to learn more about Daytona's. My buddy just bought a 09 675 and for the second I rode it I was jealous. I fell in love with everything about it. So hear I am, doing my research and finding out everything I can about the bike. I am going to have to sell my bike, which is going to be very difficult to give up, but then again I don't need a liter bike in the city. Shitty part is it got damaged in the Hurricane out here and my insurance won't cover it...soo I figured I need to get my butt in gear with this whole triumph thing. Any body from around this area? Hit me up. Thanks

Im in Queens, but once in a while have to go to white plains for work. Welcome to the forum. Pretty cool that you fell in love with the Daytona, you have deff came to the right place for your research. If your bike is running but damaged you could still sell it as a track bike or something, I am not sure what is exactly wrong with it, and if it effects its title status.

All that is damaged on my R1 is the wire connector broke and there is some minor one inch scratches on the lower fairing. If anyone is interested or knows someone interested here is the link.

Damn bike is clean, and the plastidip is a nice touch. Good luck with the sale, hopefully you get what you want and get onto a 675.
