Howdy from CenTex

Just a quick note to say "hi!". New Triumph owner from Central Texas (Austin) area. Been lurking for a long while, but never had a reason to post. Picked up a '13 675R last week. Been on Ducati SuperSport on and off for the the last 6 years or so.. quite a change... but a good one.

Welcome.
I've ridden an 848 and I much prefer the seating position of the Daytona. The Duc had me feeling like my head was over the front wheel. Good pick with the 675R.
I'm from Norman, OK. So I won't mention anything about a certain football game played in Dallas in Oct.

Feel free to mention whatever you want to about the game! I'm not from Austin originally and didn't go to school here so I have no love for the 'Horns... and dad was a Sooner back in the day... still have family in Norman.

Cool. If you're ever headed to Norman with the Daytona, let me know and I can show you the 2 or 3 curves withing 50 miles of here.
Also- The Ozark Rat Raid is coming up in NW Arkansas at the end of April. We had 6 or 7 riders from 675.net there last year and maybe more this next one. Long haul from Austin but great roads. Of course you're not far from the good Hill Country stuff.
I used to live in Corpus Christi when I was a kid
