US pricing was announced today.
Standard Street Triple with switchable ABS $9,399. Street Triple R with switchable ABS $9,999. $500 difference between the R and the standard. Why would anyone buy the standard? |

Oops, math problems today. That should be $600. Statement still stands though.

Oh, I forgot to add they did not release pricing for either of those without ABS. I'm going to guess they are not going to import anything without ABS or it's not being made.

Yeah paint would be the only reason but honestly there are so few parts it's cheaper to repaint then it is to upgrade the parts. Although if you plan on upgrading parts you can save your money up front and get much better parts when you do.

That was my thinking. I am upgrading from a gs500 so the standard will be a huge improvement. Once I find I need (want) more than the standard I can upgrade the parts.
