Default Danmotos smells like food?

Just wondering if anyone has smelt the ends of their exhausts after a ride. Mine strangely smells sort of like a sweet saucy meal.

Don't know about smelling of food, but the carbon Danmoto zorst on my race bike certainly came up crispy after its first track session - all the clear coat baked and crackled off the pipe. Looked awful.

Replaced with a Ti version and all good now.

If it smells like bacon, then I'm ready to swap out my Arrows

No, it's real carbon. I don't think there's any problem with the actual carbon fibre, but I've seen a couple examples of the clear coat cooking off, crackling and burning. It's not pretty.

Go for a good long ride on a hot day and let us know how you go.

I had another wiff, it seems to be coming from the inside of the pipe rather external. Maybe the Chinese kid dropped his candy in there while making it or something. I'm hoping it's not something from the engine that's not meant to be burnt.

I've been skeptical of the Danmotos . Anyone been running them a while ? Are they better than TORs ? The Conical ones are pretty cool . And CHEAP!
