Front Brake Lockup WTF???

HI, had an usual event today with the 675r, went from current tune to 20596 just to see if much difference, went for a test ride & as I applied the brakes at end of street the fronts had a lot more feel to them, carried on & as I got further up the road, the bike started to struggle to keep moving, so pulled over & stopped, from this point the front brakes were on solid, could not move bike. After a while of rest & jiggling lever on & off they freed up enough to move & ride home. Now the lever feel seems "normal".?????????

Dodgy brake fluid ?

The slower you move, the more dangerous your bike is... I'll let you work out the conclusion from there

If you find wearing proper gear's too hot, you're just not fast enough !

I would take the front wheel off and look at the pads and calipers for anything loose or unusual.

How many miles on the bike?

I would take the lever off and clean/lube/reinstall. The pivot could be sticking, or the place where the M/C piston mates up could be shady. I've seen this happen to people when they poorly install a set of aftermarket levers. It's possible that your levers were installed poorly by the assembly tech.

Good call, guess I better recheck the aftermarket levers I installed

The ' nipple' for the m/c piston needs to be I'm the matching hole in the dowel inside the lever. You probably missed.

I was about to say have you done any work on the brakes recently, but there you go, you've answered your own question. I would have a thorough recheck at what you've done, as logically this is where the problem lies. Or at least the very first place you should be checking things.
