Default How many helmets do you own?

Okay, after reading the 'let's see your helmet thread' I have to ask: How many helmets do you own? If you own multiple helmets, is the reasoning based on graphics, fit, etc?

I may use some of the info gathered in this thread as some justification to my other half .

I have 2 shoei x-11's and one hjc (something about 3 years old)
my wife has two both HJC's and 3 years old

when we move to Irwin in Aug we are getting rid of her 2 and mt HJC for some fresher ones

I'll just drop down to two

I always have one extra in case something STUPID happens

2 at moment but about to buy a 3rd.

Shoei TZX street helmet, but its a little too big.
Just bought a Shoei X12 Bautista replica. That will be my road helmet.
Want another one for the track so I don't have to use a $1000 helmet for the track.

I have 2. A Shoei for me, and an Arai for passengers. The Arai was my daily driver until I decided to buy a new one (the Shoei) for my first track day.

I have 4 helmets. A HJC I bought when I first started riding and a Nitron in size small for attractive women that are silly enough to ride 2 up with me.

I also have an Arai RX7 that I bought due to the HJC being over 5 years old and had taken a couple minor knocks in it's time. Then I got a Bell Star because the Arai is a total pain in the arse to change visors on and I was often getting caught out riding at night with an irridium visor. It was a stupidly good deal ($200 on closeout) so I have that fitted with a transitions visor (dark in the sun, clear at night) that I use for the street. Arai I now only really use on the track.

I really want one of these too:

which is the X-lite that Lorenzo wore at Motegi mainly because I have pretty much the same picture tattooed on my arm as a sleeve.

It's based on this painting which is a couple hundred years old and probably the most famous piece of Japanese art.

I've got two, I only use one. I use my Bell Star and my older KBC sits on the shelf. I figured I'd keep it around as decoration, nothing wrong with it though. The wife has 2 also. A crap KBC that is about useless and a nice Shoei RF1100

Shark=POS? How can that be? My RSR2 is amazing! To each his/her own I guess. Absolutely nothing wrong with the other two helmets she has either. Really comes down to what fits great.

Oh, Shark RSR2!

EDIT: Yay! 2000 posts!

I only have one right now. Icon Alliance Torrent, but I plan to pick up another helmet soon for a back up.

I have back up jackets, gloves, and boots, but no back up helmet LOL
