I've always liked that place just to stop in and burn some time. The only thing I don't like about it is that customer service has got to be minimal just because the place is so huge. I don't mean that it would be bad, just not as attentive as a smaller local place.

I might buy a bike or gear from there if it was cheaper but I wouldn't have them do any servicing of any kind.

It never hurts to have alternatives, but that place doesn't excite me. I'll give them a look again, but after buying from a smaller more detail oriented dealer, I don't know that I'll be a "loyal" customer.

Thanks for chiming in. I share your sentiments... great to have another option BUT they won't be my first option. I have been there a million times to check stuff out, looking at bikes, gear, as well as parts, but I can't remember the last time I actually bought something there. As you guys mentioned, the place is so huge that you really don't get quality customer service (if any at all), and their prices aren't super competitive. Anyway, just thought I'd pass the news along to the local folks...

It's awesome to check out bikes there, but based off of horror stories I've heard and a $3k higher asking price for a D675 than other local Triumph dealers, Bert's is pretty much useless purchasing.

Apparently their service department is OK, but I don't see why I'd bother.

I always go to Bert's so I can see things in person, then I usually go somewhere else to get it.

Not a big fan of the salesman there. Had some old guy who thought KTM was Japanese and talked crap about 675s (after I told him what I rode in on) couple months prior to getting a triumph in there room.....

that hurt man...

You should have gone back after they started carrying Triumph and asked him again how he felt about them.

Gone there a few times. The only place in LA county sells Triumph blank keys.
