I fitted my Kreiga US-30 bag to my tank today.

I had this bag for my last bike, I had previously mounted it to the passenger seat. However, with the STR it's a bit large for the tail section so I went ahead and put it on the tank.

I think if I was buying another bag for this bike I would go with the US-20, but this one does fit pretty good and does not interfere with any controls or my riding in it's current location.

First pic I've seen with a tank-mounted Kriega (other than a US-10). Thanks for the post!

Wow .. I didn't think the us30 would fit on the tank. I have mine mounted on my tail and no interference at all, if I place it properly. I agree that the 20 might be easier to mount but having all that space is so nice lol.

Did you paint those frame sliders or do they come with a painted option? I was thinking about doing this as well.

Painted. I wish Triumph offers red color option for the frame sliders because it perfectly matches the red rear sub frame. It makes more sense than offering the STR with glossy red side panels which don't look good IMO.

BTW rotated the throttle cable housing and re-routed the throttle cables without a problem ;)

So this weekend I finally got some techspec tank pads. As well as gave it a nice detail Then went out all day Sunday on a ride in the Santa Cruz mountains to try out the new tank pads. Really great addition, much more stable in the corners, and steep downhill grades are much easier. It doesn't feel like I'm sliding all over the place with my textile pants anymore.

Got around to installing my Daytona/RX tail the other day. Looks much better, especially with the Daytona swingarm. Need the Daytona stickers for the tail now.

Installed Ermax screen

Installed Ermax Windscreen. Paint matches perfectly. Instructions are terrible. Craftsmanship is a grade below the Triumph OEM screen, but it looks better. Installation involved removing one of the headlights and re-aligning them, it was a very tight fit. It looks beautiful. Cannot comment on wind protection yet.
