Triumph Arrow Slip-on Exhaust for 2009 Daytona 675, A9600199

Hi all!

I am sure this has been answered but it seems Triumph them selves can't answer my question!

What is the correct map for the Triumph Arrow Slip-on Exhaust for Daytona 675, A9600199!

I have listed the numbers below for my VIN!

20281
Aftermarket exhaust
From VIN 381275
95 RON (85 RON MON) fuel

20284
Arrow exhaust
From VIN 381275
95 RON (89 RON MON) fuel

20280
Standard exhaust
From VIN 381275
95 RON (85 RON MON) fuel

There are lots of post already on here but mainly listing codes for older bike!

One think Triumph have said is there is no full system availble for the 09 bike! (not sure sure there is one advertised)

I had the 20284 map on the bike yesterday and found there was a flat spot at 5000rpm! Just had the 20281 load tonight! was the same on the way home so I ran the bike at idle for 12 mins and then shut off then took bike out again seem better but will go for a longer ride tomorrow!

The garage cleared the adapted data but didn't do the 12 min idle is this necessary?

The data on the triumph computer didn't say arrow full system just arrow exhaust! or Aftermarket exhaust !

Your thoughts please gents!

20281 is correct. 20284 is the arrow full system tune.

Thank you! I spoke to triumph uk and a main dealer with no answer! I had to use this forum and look at the computer myself to work it out! Do you know if I was correct running at idle or was that not necessary?

I have the same problem but for a 2008 bike...
Would the right tune be the 20281 or should I look at the 20153 due to an older VIN?
Pleasseee helpppp!

(I have a vin of arround 368... and the same arrow slip-on)

have a look on the following link I checked these maps with a triumph computer and they are the same!

You can check you vin against the list but I think you will still have two option like I had Arrow or aftermarket!

I am getting the impression the aftermarket code it correct!

Mine did seem better when I idled it for a good 12 mins let the fan come on two and switch off. something to do with adaptive something not sure! I had my adaptive something cleared today when they change my map!

i'm actually wondering a similar thing... Sorry if i'm thread-jacking, but i got my tuneboy from the last group buy and wanted to check if my dealer had re-mapped the bike after putting on the arrow for me... I have an '09 Daytona and according to the tuneboy software the map on there right now is 020311. Anyone know if that is the right tune for the 09 arrow slip on?

20285 gave me 107HP on Dyno and 46torque. its for arrow slip on and i use 87octane fuel. However that is for the highest VIN.

If you have a tuneboy, you need to "reset adaptations" in the tuneboy(not tune edit) program, and then idle it for approx 10mins.

Hi Gent,

Thanks for all your advice Bike is running great now!

To confirm and clarify for anyone with an 09 bike with the Arrow Ti end can!

The Triumph Tune map that should be used is:

20281
Aftermarket exhaust
From VIN 381275
95 RON (85 RON MON) fue

After this is installed they should reset adaptations using the Triumph hand held computer!

Then Run the bike at idle with out reving for approx 12mins or 2 fan cycles!

Thats it !

Then get yourself down to a track and give it a blast! Sounds great!

No flat spot or back fire!

Still get a quality grumbling though!

Note dont get confused with misfire/popping and overrun grumbling very different!
