Default Anatomy of a Highside (Photo Intesive Sequence) Chuckwalla Turn 9

Granted, I wasn't riding a 675, but I thought you might find these interesting anyway.

So I was trying a different line into Turn 9, which is a bit off camber. The area was also a bit dusty.

Even though I wasn't going all that fast, I think I gave my SV650 just a little too much throttle for the lean angle I was at and accounting for the dust on the track. Here is the result:

Thanks to Brian of Caliphotography for capturing me making an ass of myself!

That is probably the most detailed crash photo sequence I have ever seen. That was really amazing. I'm glad to see you are ok but I can't help but think that the new and improved SV is a bit of a bad luck charm.

WOW , i'm glad you came out ok Al , how about the bike ??

as said thats got to be the best sequence of photos i have ever seen.

so by the 4th photo is that where you realize "shit" somethings not right ??

funny thing is , i put the first photo in the centre of the screen and scroll down really fast on the mouse scroll wheel and i can see it in full motion ...lol

Seeing it happen right behind Steven was scary. The 5th pic looks like your tossing your bike like a bowling ball

Thanks guys! And a HUGE thanks to MGFChapin, Tooblekain, Newtomoto, Kaareo and the rest of the gang for taking care of me after crash. MGFChapin even drove home!

The bike is repairable for sure. Total repair cost on the bike is gonna be about 3k including parts, paint and labor.... It just sucks cause I had just got new paint/bodywork last month after my January crash.

And yeah, I'm still sore... but I'm pretty sure nothing is broken this time.
