Title is pretty self explanatory. Aesthetically I prefer the gel seat as the low gel seat has more squared off edges. I also noticed the quality of the low gel does not seem to be quite as good as the gel, by this I mean the underside where the cover is attached around the edges. This is being very picky so don't get me wrong the low gel is still good quality. The height difference is noticeable as well and seems to have comparable comfort, need to get the low gel broken in a little now. The low gel also seems to latch to the bike a little tighter.

Thanks for the comparison. I've been thinking about a gel seat but don't know which to look for. I am 6'1 so no height difficulties. How tall and how much do you weigh? Would you say that the low gel is for a short rider worried about comfort and seat height or for the all around rider?

great post, like everyone else i've been curious about the differences. there definitely is a noticeable height difference between the regular gel and the low. from the picture the stock and the low gel look very similiar in terms of height. would you say they are the same or is one lower? thanks again dude.

I just got my first 675 last week. I love it, the only problem I'm having is that my ass gets sore when riding for more than two hours. I have looking into the gel seat and wondering if it makes a difference in long ride comfort. Can anyone elaborate on this for me? Thanks.
