Its acually not that nuts. At my pace, I get about 4-5 trackdays out of a Q3 rear. If I was to run in C group, I could probably get 12 trackdays out of a Q3. In addition, if your suspension isn't set up properly and/or your tire pressure is low, you'll chew through tires much faster, just say'n.

We have pretty coarse chip-and-seal roads in the Ozarks, aggressive riding during warm weather takes a quick toll. I've stripped off 2mm-3mm of tread in a day, several times. Forum member Gloryracing is lucky to get 2,000 miles out of PR3's/T30's ect.. lol. There are several of us (forum members) that have had to raid his tire stash when getting caught short before the end of a weekend. The flip-side though is generally great traction!

We have medium abrasive roads for the most part in east tn, but the most i have gotten out of Q3 is 2k street and 1 track weekend.

I burn through the rubber hard at the track though... the damn rubber is curling off the sidewalls and that was in intermediate.. i run advanced now and the Q3 is a great tire, but i need a little more grip for the angles i am learning.. had a few slips my last go at NCM.

Street i run F 34-36 cold, R 32-34 cold
track f 30 cold R 26-28 cold - coming off the track hot temps are F 32/33, R 28-30 depending on several factors i know...

CANT WAIT to try these new tires
thanks @Shamrock !

How do your roads compare to the roads in the Deals Gap/Skyway/North Georgia area? Those roads are what we call "really smooth", lol.

I have pretty much the same results from the Q3's. Pushed them to get about 3K miles out of them. Mostly commuting with some weekend twisties. Went back to the PR4's now that I'm commuting to work and school.

Haven't done either of those. We definitely need to get together some time this year. I haven't been up there at all this year. Honestly I just can't stand the place now. It may be because I see the results of the stupidity up there at work all the time.
