bump - still looking.

I did buy the fork lower... and as i was installing it in the old stanchion tonight, i realized the chrome slider for 09 is not the same length as 06-08 (grrrr)... 09 is longer.

therefore i'm looking for a full fork, the side with the axle screw :)

According to my notes there is a 22mm upper bushing overlap, so you could try to investigate to shorten the stanchion by the offending 10mm between 06-08 and 09. This possible due to the fixed upper bushing in the forks.

You need to verify that the bushing overlap is there and check that the threads are the same between the 06-08 and 09, then have the stanchion turned down.

Or just get another fork...

Yeah, as riding season is getting closer and closer, I want to have the bike ready to go, so tinker time is over. I'm just going to look for a complete fork. Unfortunately there aren't a lot readily available on eBay so I may have to wait a week or two.
