I recently picked up a 675R and I can't get it to start using the button. I can only start it by connecting the positive and negative on the back of the starter relay. When I first picked it up it started just fine, it has aftermarket levers and would only start when clutch lever was furthest out so I thought if I just connected the two clutch sensor wires that would work but no. It is not the battery or the starter. When I hold the clutch lever and press the button I hear a single light "click" up towards the left front side of the bike. Not sure where that's coming from. The bike will run all day and start just fine if I connect the main pos and neg at the relay. Not sure what else it could be.. Really getting frustrated here. Also I have no headlights, no high beam or low beam either. Took the bulb out and they look fine.
Yes the bike is in neutral when I try to start it.
