I have my 07 Daytona pulled apart to check the valves and it is filthy. Making sure to not get water in obvious places (intake ports, air hoses, electrical connections, etc) is there any reason I shouldn't hose it off and wash while it is apart?
You want to be relatively conservative with Simple Green usage. Definitely don't use it in its concentrated form on Aluminum. Simple Green is corrosive to Aluminum.
If you do want to use SG, they make an aviation formula. Which is safe on Aluminum.
