Dialed it in as much as my ability by watching Dave Moss's videos and using some other settings and recommendations. In my opinion it's on point for my riding style. I must say its a huge improvement over the stock '07 shock. Very happy with it!
Great. The problem with the first generation shock is the spring rate is too stiff unless your like 225 lbs. I have all the preload dialed out on mine and its still too stiff. I read the Sport Rider review of the 2013, and they report that the spring rate was reduced. So it should be better over bumps while still being able to be adjusted to firm for track days.
Thanks, I just bought a '14 rear shock off eBay. Any suggestions on how to support the subframe to switch it out would be greatly appreciated - thanks again!
Just installed mine yesterday and went for a 100 mile ride today. Definite improvement for street riding - still firm but more compliant with the lower spring rate.
