Hey guys my name is Chase and I picked up a new (to me) 2006 daytona 675 a couple weeks ago. I have put 500 mi on her since then and have chosen a bit more direction about where I want to go cosmetically at least.
#1 will a 2012 675r oshlins rear shock directly bolt on to a 2006 daytona 675?
#2 will 2013-2016 675r passanger pillion hangers/pegs directly bolt to the 2006 675?
#3 what silicone adhesive would you use to support tank pads peeling off / installing carbon fiber engine and stator covers.
#4 I'm hoping to integrate my front blinkers to some sort of mirrors maybe ducati does anyone know of good integrated mirrors?
#5 Does anyone know of a place that I can send extra headlights to to have halos /HID projectors installed?
#6 Best out of the way manually adjusting steering stabilizer?
#7 Recommended brake pad brands? Thinking about running brembo t drive rotors or the super waves.
I am on rosso corsas now and was thinking about switching to the diablo rosso 3s next season, I'm in washington state and am not even pondering track days.
CL 60 pads have worked great for me. I have a black GPR damper for sale from a 12' Daytona I am parting out. Check out my bike for sale and let me know if you are interested in anything, going to start parting out. The suspension will be for sale as well, but I am not sure if the TTX fits an 06.
+1 on the CL60 pads, tried them for first time this year and am sold! Great initial feedback and stopping power, and great overall feel, especially compared to the EBC EPFAX.

6. So you don't want a top-mount? The GPR above is my personal favorite but a Hyperpro damper can be mounted in the stock location.
7. Go with pads that match the rotors, i.e. T drives work great with Brembo pads, Galfer wave discs work great with Galfer pads.
Any rain riding? If you have no plans for track days, I'd suggest a long-lasting street tire like Michelin Pilot Road 4 or Pirelli Angel GT.
I live in Washington state so rain riding is inevitably but not preferred. I have not ridden in the rain before on any street bike..

-1 on the front or +2 on the back is a nice compromise and is what 2013+ Daytonas come with. That'll give you better acceleration. If you're looking for better gas mileage & lower RPM on the freeway, you can go -2 or 3 on the back instead. Either way you go, the speedo is easily correctable in TuneECU.
