I noticed alot of oil leaking from the sump and engine junction. Gasket looks pokes out in some ares at this junction not sure if thats a bad sign that maybe the gasket is misaligned. I tightened all the 8mm bolts to see if that would help out, just did that today so I wont know till I go for a ride if that fixed the issues. Posted some pics for reference. Any suggestions or experiences with this sort of an issue?

I'm hoping you have a warranty. I purchased a new 14' D675R and experienced a leaky counter shaft seal but had it replaced under warranty. I'll periodically go around and check the other bolts to make sure they're tight enough. So far I've only experienced one leak. I'd take your bike in for warranty and have that resolved before you have MAJOR issues. Just my .02
Ok so I've been troubleshooting oil leaks for a while now on my 14 daytona as you can see from the post from 2015 above, I am still dealing with the same issue today. I've tightened all the bolts to the correct torque spec many times even pulled the exhaust to get to some of the more difficult ones to get to. I've realized maybe I am chasing down the wrong thing and it may just be a bad sump gasket install from the factory, also just noticed a slight seep from the clutch cover. I am at a loss with how to go about this or if my thinking is correct in it being a crappy gasket/gasket install. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
FWIW I had a weep from the cam drive cover just in front of the clutch cover. It initially appeared to be from that side of the sump. The tech at my dealer suggested just tightening the bolts. Fortunately I have a small inch-lb torque wrench and that cured it.
Ive got it coming out of the clutch cover inspection hole. I stopped at a bike meet and spotted 2 others with the exact same issue. There is no seal on the black plastic threaded plug.
Unless you have a 1/4 inch snap on (or comparable) torque wrench there is no point in using one. They are only accurate in the middle range of their spec. Take an 8mm on a 1/4 drive, use an extension, put the extension in between you index and middle finger with the ratchet in your palm and snug the bolt until it feels tight. Do not over tighten it. This is a super common issue and snugging the bolts by hand typically fixes it unless the gasket is damaged.
I had pretty significant leakage on my 2014 as well and after torquing all the pan bolts and replacing the one that actually fell out...all the leaks stopped. There was a specific pattern in the service manual to torque the bolts.
