Looking for some wisdom!
About 2-2.5 weeks ago when I got home my coolant expansion tank overflowed and I lost a fair bit of coolant. The overflow tank was down from full to empty and I had to top the radiator up a tiny bit too.
I figured the obvious issue may be the radiator cap, as there was no cracks and all radiator hoses are tight (from a few searches). I replaced it and the spring in the new item is way stronger than the one it is replacing.
I also topped off the coolant in the radiator and in the expansion tank. But this was about two weeks later as I've been really busy for work.
I also noticed the clutch lever wasn't pulling smoothly when doing the work and discovered the clutch cable was damaged and obviously had been crimped at a previous service. Anyway I also replaced the clutch cable, no dramas.
Now when I go to turn the bike on it's turning over, I'm getting air out the exhaust (slight smell of petrol), the fuel pump is priming no errors, but the bike won't fire to life.
I've charged the battery and it still won't start. I've got another battery coming over tomorrow that I know is good that I'll give a try.
I've got the fairings off and the indicators unplugged. The R/R is plugged in though.
It won't start with the clutch out, sidestand down, or with the clutch in sidestand down and up, all in nuetral. It won't start in gear with the clutch pulled in and the sidestand up.
I haven't disconnected anything else. The fuel looks clean and fine in the tank. No water.
Edit: Also the bike wasn't actually showing as overheated when it overflowed, still 6-7 bars at the time from memory.
Any suggestions?
