R1S was too far out of my price range. After doing serious reading on the R3, it just seems like it is too much of a "budget" bike.
To be honest with you, I almost feel like I am settling a bit, because I don't love anything on the market like I love the 675R. However, I NEED to ride before the season ends.
Is there a reason you did not just go with a new Daytona?
Doubtful you would have the same issue again. Is it because of how Triumph handled the situation?
Definitely, and trust me, I thought about it. I LOVED the 675R, the GSXR is just a rushed purchase to get myself on 2 wheels before the end of the season.
I had actually asked for a replacement instead of a buy out, but Triumph declined. Between the lack of reliability, what I went through in terms of customer service, I have opted to take my money elsewhere.

Sad to see you go. But do tell your thoughts on the 750 after a few months ownership..!
