Still deciding where to mount it. I was going to do like MakinBeer but am hoping to find a mounting point that is less visible since I ride on the street also (and that doesn't move so I don't stress the connections). Probably overkill, but I'm compulsive.
I just posted in electrical for the diy but I figure I'll reply here for visibility. If anyone has the instructions, they would be greatly appreciated! Trying to see if my cracked cluster still works and hoping it starts since my ignition barrel broke.
asked before, but still need: can someone send me an electrical diagram of the keyless setup? took out my ignition barrel final round last year racing in a fun little down. thanks.
Woodcraft just released one of their plug and play harnesses for the 675. Instead of a separate switch it configures everything for the RHS on/off switch.
OK going to hit some people up with a PM on this.... I owed several people over the last couple months, been so swamped with work, have not had the time to untape my harness...

Woodcraft is pretty strict on their pricing and discounts. We sell the Triumph harness units for $61.74. If interested in purchasing just drop us a PM.
any chance of getting the newer 09-12 plug alone for the harness (the terminals too?). got the older style woodcraft harness by mistake thinking it would work.
The only place I've ever seen the exact plug is Eastern Beaver. I've found other Sumitomo DL090 online, but not the eight position. If someone has a source in the states, I'd love to know. Shipping for small orders from EB is prohibitively expensive.
I'll sell the one i've been using on my 2010 for $20 plus shipping.. basically just hot wires the ignition, so you have to use the switch on the right side..
On a side note, when you do this, the tail light always has power going to it, which wouldn't have been a big deal except that is where the power for my bazzaz kit came from, so I had to put a switch in the wire so the bazzaz kit wouldn't be drawing power 24/7
Installed the Woodcraft unit on my 2011 tonight. Plug and play, simple as can be. Putting it in takes seconds, then you just have to fasten the wiring up. Of course, I haven't removed my keyswitch yet, that will be a bit more work.
It won't work if your bike has an immobiliser, which apparently they do in some markets.
For me, the bit of expense is worth not having to hack and splice.
Since mine is a race bike and already hacked to pieces I went the free way :smile2:
Was very easy and the PM I got was spot on. I wanted to double check and make sure it was right so I jumped all of the wires 1st and it was perfect so I cut behind the plug about 4 inches and soldered and heat shrank all of the wires. Now my plan is to sell the key and take setup...not sure how much, but I am sure there is a market for it. >
Can someone please pm me a copy of the instructions for my 07 daytona?
It's a track only bike and I would like to remove the ignition and key ...one less thing to forget when I am packing for the weekend at the track.
