So a few buddies pulled this guy out of a ditch after he had a low side. He came by our camp at the resort to get some help with repairs. He offered to show us the gopro footage. After we watched about 2 minutes we were all appalled. He didn't want us to save it but after we told him we saved him like 400 dollars in towing he reluctantly agreed. This is some of the worst riding ive ever seen. Crash is around 8:50 but i encourage you to watch the whole thing... Just keep in mind, you may be riding at the top of your game but there's always some idiot barreling towards you at 50 mph out of control ready to take you out...enjoy... tried to embed but it wouldnt work, if anyone knows how to do it that would be awesome...
What a peice of shit. Ok if you want to put your life at risk, go to the track. Not up there. Wow! Some of the worst riding I have ever seen.
He deserved a lot worse than what he got.
It's like just sticking your finger in a flame, over and over again, lol. This guy WILL NOT LEARN from this. A normal person would cool his/her jets a little after a couple close calls, this idiot never let up. Love the coordination - a Suzuki jacket while riding a Triumph Sprint.
Man watching that felt really uncomfortable for some reason. The swerving into the oncoming lane aside, the steering was so unnatural/forced it was irritating to watch even on a subconscious level.
It was like when you are watching a horror movie, where the music is ramping up and the suspense is building and you know that the inevitable is about to happen, and you're turning away and closing your eyes and cringing like a schoolgirl (ok, that might just be me). Except that if it were a movie, it would have been a letdown... "WTF? He didn't kill anyone? Not even a tree?"
That's a perfect reason why you don't go to deals gap on a weekend in the summer. Dumbasses like him and the idiots on the cruisers he passes in the beginning.
I've got some serious palm sweat going on here. Right about the time dude crosses the double yellow and passes while going into a blind turn is where I lost it. That crash was inevitable yet avoidable at the same time. Glad he's good, but he needs to re-evaluate his choice of transportation until he gets comfortable negotiating turns.
I don't even know what to say.....was this his first time on a bike? Did he comment on how soft the pine needles were? I was a little surprised that when the helmet came off he wasn't 17.....so disappointing to see someone riding like that on the road. I'm no expert but I'm shocked to see this guy made that far....

"...You'll never say hello to you
Until you get it on the red line overload
You'll never know what you can do
Until you get it up as high as you can go
Out along the edges
Always where I burn to be
The further on the edge
The hotter the intensity
Highway to the danger zone
Gonna take you
Right into the danger zone"
Glad everyone's alright and maybe he'll re-evaluate...
it was the look back that got me the most... given the terrible stearing aside, if you dont know whats behind you going into a corner, you take the corner wide, and then look behind you, not only are you not looking where you are going/ who is coming at you, but you are going to most like hit the guy that might be behind you coming back into 'your' lane
i keep watching this... omg so so so bad
It started off a little iffy but every time he crossed the double yellow then off to the side.. the swings got greater and greater........ I knew his fate. :surprise:.
That idiot is going to kill himself or someone else! How f'ing stupid can one be? I quit watching a couple of minutes into the video (shortly after he passed with a double yellow line). I'll come back at watch tonight. I have to ask if he was toasted as in drunk?
Was this guy aware of how he didn't know what he was doing at all when you spoke with him? This is extremely stupidly dangerous for him and everyone else.
Happy he was at least wearing some kind of protection, he needs to downgrade to a bicycle.
I don't know man, a bicycle still requires some kind of skill. He might need to be downgraded to walking shoes. That was some seriously irresponsible riding.
