My bike came with a warped rear rotor. Not a huge deal but it is bothering me. If anyone has one laying around they want to part with let me know.

I have a friend who let this fat dude from our local dealer ride his bike on a trip. Guy rode the entire way resting his fat foot on the rear brakes and someone didn't notice it. Seized up the entire caliper. :frown2:
Seizing and wrapped two different things buddy.

Wrapped is not going to be caused from the brake being slightly engaged, all that is going to do is heat it up and cause wear.

Wrapped is typically caused from coming to a stop from braking and then holding the brake onto the rotor heating the metal in one spot. Is the rotor is moving it is not going to wrap unless the rotors are thin and even then it is very unlikely to happen.

My rear rotor warped after about 8k miles. Not sure what was up with that. Had to buy a new one and I hardly ever use my rear brake... only to level myself for tip in / trail braking and to filter to the front of traffic at lights.

Either way... had to pony up for a new one. Them shits ain't cheap!
