Sucks to hear, I was feeling a bit like this due to some other health issues with 2 weeks of prime riding weather. Could not wear anything remotely tight on my right foot. Bike sat and i sat, could hear bikes in the distance ripping it.. That is the worse!
Sidenote... SO now we have The THANK-O-METER on our avatar and name side... Can i get a THANK YOU! LOL
now we just need a CRAP Post: CRAP-O-METER for crap posts!
Rode to work today. Low 50's and drizzle in the morning. Low 60's and almost drizzle this afternoon. Not a great day but I can shave 5 minutes off my commute
It's been about 30 years since I've carved a pumpkin. My mom was big into Halloween, as it was also her birthday. Thought she would approve, hope you'all like it.
Damn some good looking pumpkins.. I am using the one from the pasture and well they are not that great for carving, so i have to keep it simple.
Pics to follow once i get the camera recharged.
Aprilia was nice enough to have it screw to the damn carbon fiber fender, WTF!
still waiting on the little rubber plugs from VESPA that will fit in there and look proper. At this point i have considered putting a sticker over that one to!
On a sidenote, it is hardcore Tuesday, 34 degrees out and some frost and i am actually going to ride to school on the bike.. Lets see how well the shorai works on the RSV4 in this shit.
Well thank you... now I am just fine tuning the suspension for me and adding a carbon fiber sub-tray and that should about do it.. Minus the windscreen I just ordered & maybe some titanium rotor & sprocket bolts/nuts.
Yes - provided my 23 y/o is out by then and I'm pretty sure he will be. I don't know that Norman, OK is your most direct route to Arkansas but you are welcome to it on the way if you want. Just added a full size bed to it this week.
Just checked google maps, looks like it's only 28 hours from Salem OR to here. Thats a breeze
**edit**
It shows 31 hours to the HUB for you and 33 if you route through Norman OK so not a huge difference
Thats the plan, I should be knocking out a shitload of school (last semester) so i can graduate in spring, but life is short we have to enjoy it while we can.
Let me say this, if the wife gives me the same line of, "if you go, your stuff will not be here when you come back", then i will move my stuff ahead of time and figure on buying a place to live while I am there.
been searching for real estate down there already..
Had confirmation today that a H-D Sportster is no better at off-roading than a Daytona 675.
Co-worker friend came along for a ride down 125 and blew a curve. Pretty sure the bike will be totaled. He (Paul) is OK other than some scrapes on his leg and a few bruises. The bike was still rideable so we got him strapped up and continued on our trek. He's in good spirits, and ready to ride some more. I had slowly been getting him to get some real biking gear, lol. When I pulled up to him, first thing out of his mouth was "The gear all worked, lol, I'm getting some pants!"
Yeah, he just went into a corner too hot (about 70) for his skill level. This was his first real Ozark curvy road experience. I wish it could have been a better experience, but he's good with it. He picked one of the few places to run off the road that he could without plastering a tree, so that was good.
Had a quick stop on the pig trail today on the way back from my dads.
Sons Justin (23) and Josh (20). They were pissed I made them get out for a photo.
