2008 FZ1 when I am solo and a 2010 VFR 1200 when my better half gets to join me for some 2 up fun. Therefore, Thursday and Friday I will be on the FZ1 and 2up Sat and Sun.
For those that are first timers, keep in mind we will probably be the only ones at the HUB Wednesday. About half of the riders show up Thursday night and the rest show up between Friday mid day and Friday evening. Event 'check in' begins Thursday evening around 5 or 6
It wasn't too bad at my house, the worst of it seemed to split on both sides of me. The tornado sirens went off but there was no tornado near me.
We had a big hailstorm a few weeks ago and roofers are constantly putting stuff on the door and calling our home phone. Every time an 'unknown number' comes up I answer "Hello - I don't need a roofer" and they hang up.
Also be prepared for the most amazing roads not known to most people hahaha also the slim chance we stop and one of us gets kidnapped by mountain people.
storm wasn't too bad the last earlier this week we had a tornado about 10 miles from my house. i've been lucky every tornado we get is really close but always misses me.
Anybody going riding today? I might take a ride to stl tomorrow instead of driving a car....might as well put some miles on these tires as the new ones come on Monday  I have too much going on today or I would be riding
So after ardell posted in another thread he replaced his rotors to get rid of the pulsing I think I found the ones I am going to get only 300 shipped from the UK and they look sweet haha
Stu,
Is that for just 1 rotor, or a pair? I'm betting it's for 1, you'll have to purchase 2. Are those full-floaters or semi? I didn't see much description in that link, they look nice though.
Yeah I just emailed them, I may just stick with OEM rotors. If I can find 675R with the black would be nice haha, but we will see. I got the cash, I am just very frugal and that is why overtime I have had the cash haha, but we will see I just like the looks of them really hahaha
Well wont be going the route with those awesome looking rotors, got an email back, and basically after everything is said and done it would be about 700 bucks for two rotors haha NO
Soo will be looking for OEM or Galfers when I get back from AR.
Yeah, I figured that price was for 1 rotor, lol. Plan on a minimum of $475-$500 for a new aftermarket set and even more if you go OEM. I got a pretty good deal on mine considering they were OEM with 700 miles of use, they look new still, lol.
Left at 5:30 am yesterday and got home around 9 pm, spent about 10 hrs of that riding, it was great  although the first couple hrs were brrrrrrr......
Brett and got out about 3 PM and rode down MO-125, crossed the Ferry, rode into Arkie to get gas and reversed our tracks. Got back to his house about 7:30-ish. Since it was about 64° I wanted to test out my fall/winter jacket at that temp without the liner, and I was never really overly warm, in fact it was getting a bit chilly. So unless they really change the forecast, I know what I'll be wearing to the Raid.
Looks like early morning temps will be 30's - 40's. No mesh gear for me. This spring has been cold...WTH!
Regarding rain forecasts...they are seldom accurate in these here parts. Fortunately my riding gear is waterproof. If yours is not, I would suggest you have rain gear readily available. Being here for 6 consecutive spring days, odds are you will find a period of precip sometime during your trip.
