2017 Daytona 675

The last model before the newest one was from 2009 to 2012 that was 4 years with the same model. Now we have the new model from 13 to 16 that's another 4 years. Anyone thinks the New model will be next year or anytime after that? Anyone has some INSIDER news?

If we do, it will most likely be a modest model update like the 2009 revision. 2009 Was more of a model update with some new plastics, minor engine tweaks, and a few other things here and there. 2013, on the otherhand, was a pretty extensive overhaul. A Daytona 800 would be amazing, though.

I have a hard time believing that. The Daytona 675 is hugely popular and is one of the best selling models from the brand. I don't think we should expect a liter version, but it would be extremely short sided for Triumph to just give up their well earned spot in the market as one of the top middleweight bikes made.

I don't see the Daytona disappearing from the line-up. I'm pretty sure the Daytona will be getting the 800cc treatment soon. The Daytona's direct competitors are all up in displacement so it makes sense the Daytona would follow suit especially with the ST3 being available with an 800.

I would like to see an 800 class with a good electronics package. 2017? Doubtful. Maybe 2018.

In no way shape or form am I saying this from any insight or others words..

Do you think this could also be another reason why Team Latus is no longer going to race Triumphs? Why race and continue to develop a bike with no future?

Sadly the 675 Daytona might fall into extinction.. But damn I am going to be having fun on mine for years to come!

Amen to that... I may have to pick up a Daytona before they go extinct. And are we sure we "know" that there is a 800 STR coming? I am aware it's rumored but I am not sure we "know" that for fact.

First they stop making Evo and now Daytona's... What is this world coming to?

I was at a launch event for Triumph's 16 Bonivilles and there was a few of Triumph's personal there. I asked 2 to them about the future lineup. "Triumph has 25 new models under development that will be going into production over the next few years". So I asked about a 800cc Street Triple, " I don't have any information on that". I then asked what was coming, "Triumph will stay competitive, other than that I have no information"

So my advise; love the one you got.

Everyone knows the 06-08 looked the best. 09-12 have the catfish headlights. Still better than the 2013+ though.
