I'm going to be up super early on Friday to hit the Mountain Loop Highway in the North Cascades. If I can, I'll try to get some shots - including the wild fires (assuming it's safe).

What do the rest of you have planned?
You should try and make it to the July 25th with Motofit at the Ridge. I have to work this weekend so no riding for me, plus like someone said, nothing but crazy people on the roads this weekend.
I will probably take a morning ride and then retreat indoors before the heat gets turned up to 11. I also want to be done riding before the crazies get on the road.
Weather permitting I'm planning a ride Friday morning. Hope to make it out on the road out of town before the masses do. Not sure where I'll be going yet, and road construction and wildfires may make that decision for me.
If I'm honest, I haven't ridden much since I had my suspension serviced. This weekend I probably wont ride either, way to hot out to attempt riding in all my gear.
I feel your pain, went out at 10pm last night with my leather jacket on and thought I was going to die. I know it is a dry heat in phoenix, but 100F is still crappy.
Most days are in the upper 90's where I live. Once you have on a full race suit, boots, helmet, and gloves your body temp is probably around 105-110 F.
When I got to Eastern WA yesterday it was 102 and I was in my track suit. I made sure to head out early in the morning today to beat the heat. I had Highway 20 almost completely to myself. Here are some pics from the ride.
See, what did I tell you. Its such a great feeling when no one is in your way and before you know it, your at the top. Getting out real early and having the mountain to yourself is such a different ridding experience.
