I removed the charcoal canister black box from under the seat on my 2015 675r. I plugged the line going to the purge valve. Left the other two hoses open. Is this the correct? It says P and T on the side with two ports and one on the other side says nothing. I assume the one with no marking is the return line?
The one that goes to the gas tank should stay on the bike. I pushed the canister end out between the two rear peg mounts and directed it under the bike away from the exhaust. Its possible for gasoline liquid and fumes to exit that line so be careful where you let it drain.
The other two hoses can be removed. One is the drain that goes to the front left of the bike (some people cut the tank hose and connect it to this hose).
The other goes between the canister and the purge valve and is no longer used.
So what you're saying is there isn't any need to plug the purge valve hose for pressure reasons?....I can just remove that one? I feel like I'm over thinking this whole thing lol.
