Rectifier in Track Fairings.

Hey guys, still quite a noob to the Daytona but I have a track day coming up in a week and recently got a hold of some second hard Sharkskin race fairings. The previous owner of my second gen had the R&R recall done and mounted the rectifier underneath the right infill cover, help by the a screw in the nose which also secures the infill cover.

For the track fairing, would some very strong velcro be sufficient? Or would the temp of the rectifier cause it to lose its hold? Or should I just still a hole and reuse the same screw.

Appreciate any tips.

Appreciate all the replies guys.

For the one time, would it be appropriate for me to just zip tie the current bracket onto it?

I mounted mine inside the on the flat directly above the fender on the inside of the fairing. I would not trust velcro. 2 bolts, washers, and Nyloc Nuts.

I haven't really been that deep into the bike yet, might you have a picture?

Thanks for this, some good ideas in there.
