I've been doing a little research on exhausts recently for my new Street Triple R and I came across 2 SC Project Conic exhaust models and wanted to see if anyone knew more about the differences between the two.
T13-41MG // SC Project S1 Conic Exhaust // List price $725 USD or €690
T13-21A // SC Project Conic Exhaust // List price $570 USD or €540
They appear to be different in terms of how big the outlets are as well as how their baffles are made. One of them is mesh and the other is a tube with a restrictor lip. I haven't been able to find any videos online about the S1 and I'm curious to see if anyone had any insight on it.
So I kept searching and ended up finding something on YouTube that was posted a month ago. Since, he's posted 3 more and I have all of them listed below for anyone else that's interested. So far these videos are the only thing I've found on the S1. After listening to the 3rd and 4th clip, it sounds really close to the regular Conic but it was a little hard to tell with the wind noise.
Hi!
im thinking about buying the s1 conic. but the pictures from the sc website make me confused. On the picture from the rear it looks like it pokes out a lot from the bike.but the whole picture loos odd since the fender looks skewed and it looks like the foot peg is tilted. Are you planning on putting it on your bike soon, i would love to see some pictures. Cheers mate!
Anything further on this? Im looking to change my arrow exhaust over too. I reckon the S1 looks meaner than the conic but much more $$$ here in Aus, nearly $900 from memory.
Im also looking at the HP corse Hydroform & Fresco GP Style EVO3 Fondello - any feedback on these at all? Planning on going to the round single headlight so think a round exhaust will tie in nicely.

So I ended up going the HP Corse, only cause I got a ripper deal second hand, and this damn project is blowing out $$$. Will get some pics up when I can.
I just received mine yesterday and mounted it straight on the bike .
First impressions:
Finition is really good, worth for me the eur460 spent on it.
Mounting is easy, comes right in place.
First start with DB killer in... not so lound, just good , nice sound !
then taking it off.... a shiver of delight... turning your right hand is just like Knock Knok Knockin' on heaven's door !!!
I was in love with the deep sound of my 4 in line 750cc of my previous kawasaki, but now that I can hear this music, cm'on I love it too !!
Burbling a little bit, guess will be louder after some heating of the first kms
The shifter, sound's like someone is shooting a gun on your side !
I can't wait next tuesday to do first trackday with it, will try to tape some go pro rush, and will also cross finger for not having to put back DB killer
So to everyone who are in doubt, don't hesitate !! perfect look, perfect finition, perfect sound
I have the SC Project Conic. I love it. I removed the baffle by removing the bolt first and then putting my pointer finger and middle finger of both hands inside the end of it and applying pressure to the sides and pulling outward. (Insert jokes now!)
That's how I got it out without using any tools that would damage anything. GL
If the smell you're talking about is something like new metal being heated up then yes that is normal. My custom Arrow did the same thing. It also happened when I had my headers modified. I imagine it's the new metal "breaking in".
I recently picked up a near new and in perfect condition, second hand S21 Conic for $300. Even with the baffle in, I really love the sound.... punchy and powerful sounding without being annoyingly loud.
And the Triumph aftermarket exhaust ECU map mates quite perfectly with this exhaust.
A small, but noticeable change in power characteristics... engine seems extra happy now...like it was made for an exhaust like this....=)
Great upgrade.
