Default Changes in AMA

Few changes in the AMA for 2010.

There will be three classes running in 2010

American Superbike

Daytona Sportbike

Supersport

Moto GT has been discontinued as it stands now.

The purse amount have changed.

There is no longer an age bracket in Supersport.

You can check out the changes at roadracingworld.com.

Interesting to have the one and only winning bike from Moto GT1

The economy sure is playing havoc with our sport!

Happy Holidays to all and a safe New Year.

Tom,
I was definitely pulling for you and Mark. Congrats on the #1 plate.

Are you guys planning on running in another class for 2010?

I need to drive down to talk to you about endurance setup for the 675.

We will run WERA for sure we really havent made up our minds about AMA as of yet -(mostly because we are not sure that they are sure what will actually be done. Press announcements and what we hear from pretty reliable sources are a bit different.) We have had a few personel changes as well, so we are still sorting things out. At this time we are working on three different bikes for next year. I wouldnt be surprised if the 675 becomes more common in club racing as some other manufactuer contingencies are up in the air also. Come on down anytime.
