2014 Forum calendar

I'm spoke to Jstu202 about the 2014 calendar. I can do this for you guys if you want one. It'll take probably most of January to get completed but it's do-able. Calendar can run from Feb to Feb last time I checked the printer's website.

I have done the UK Street Triple forum calendar for the past 3-4 years so it's not a difficult task (all proceeds go to the forum). I'll be speaking to JSTU to clarify a few things about how T675.net likes to do things.

Timescale:
- Get photos from all forum members in for the calendar = 2 weeks.
- Get the forum members votes = 1 week
- Get them printed (express) = 1 week

Should arrive mid to end of Feb in the states but at least we have a 2014 forum calendar.

If you guys want this then just post up so we can see if there is interest and we can get this on the roll.

Thanks Bel. To all - putting this together is a chore and takes a lot of personal time. I've done this before and know what it takes. Bel has done this several years now and he does a GREAT job! That being said, I have a couple of suggestions and recommendations:

1. (to Bel) Start the week day on Sunday. Unlike your backwards British calendars, our calendars over here start with Sunday. The last calendar I got from the British forum had me missing early Monday meetings, lol.

2. Forum community - If you say you want a calendar, DO NOT back out! It sucks to order a bunch and then get stuck with them due to folks saying they want in and then slack off. I got stuck with about a dozen or so @ $10/pop thanks to some slackers.

I would require payment from everyone before the order goes out to get printed. No money, no calendar.

That is one option. But to hold down cost's, I used VistaPrint. VistaPrint's pricing gave good discounts for quantity, and to give a firm quote on price, I had to know how many to order. I believe Bel used, or still uses, VistaPrint and knows what I mean, lol.

Indeed I use Vistaprint. Normally I would get the list of people wanting the calendar while the votes for rhe photos come in. Payment goes in around the same time or just after the votes are made public. I have in the past used my own money but the last 2 years there was enough money in the kitty to pay for it when I orderd them.

Cost wise we did £10 + postage but I'm waiting to hear on how this forum does it. Unless I can find someone to help me in the states I'll be shipping them from here which will increase the cost. So for the calendar it'll be around $17 and shipping will be around $12.

If we aim to get 25 printed as a minimum that should work out well. All proceeds will go to the forum owners as a thank you from us members. I do want or ask for anything to do this.

Neanderthal thanks for the headsup on the Sunday/Monday thing. I would never have thought of it.

Post up what you guys think and I can make a decision by the weekend if it's worth doing.

Okay plans are started to take shape.

It looks like we might have a solution in place to ship from within the states. This will keep the shipping cost down.
