No doubt the guy is really talented among a few current racers & ex racers he was the only one that gave Ducati a world championship

Yeah and Mr. Rossi says "it's not a winning bike"....I like how Stoner told Rossi after that race "your ambition outweighs your talent" hahahaha classic!

Epic moment indeed telling these words to a nine time world champion so bluntly will be a classic moment in history of racing for sure

I wonder what exactly Stoner meant when the GP has changed and made him lose his passion.....I know Pedrosa and Lorenzo were saying that he just wanted to race and not deal with all of the interviews and stuff. I could see how the PR stuff could get tiring but at the world level and riding for a factory team what else could you really expect?

He made the right choice though, end on a great note and no reason to feel imprisoned in a racing career because you lost the passion for it. I wonder if he would open his own racing school?

I believe it was to do with the bike becoming standardized and more like factory bikes. A more consumer friendly sorry when you can go a buy a very similar road bike.

Also the bureaucracy behind the scenes. The aussie moto mags touched on it.

When you are a better rider (FACT) you can say what ever you want.. Facts don't lie, Stoners stats VS Rossi with Both of them racing same years just does not lie..
Beside Rossi only won 2 titles against even remotely worthy adversaries. Just saying.

Can't wait to watch him have to duke it out against the rookie Marquez for 3rd place..

Yeah I don't think between Lorenzo, Pedrosa and Marquez that Rossi will see as many podiums as he thinks he will see. I was watching the test results of Marquez and his first couple rides on the bike and they were saying he was only a couple tenths off of the pole position times.

I honestly thought it would take Marquez some time to get used to a bigger bike but looks like he is adapting very quickly!
