Hi All,
The clear coat on my foot pegs has started to look really bad, so I was thinking about getting them anodised black, has anyone done this or seen it done? I'm not too sure how it will look, so I don't want to do it and have my pegs look terrible. I would just go rearsets, but they are quite expensive over here and I dont get any track time to make them worthwhile. Cheers, Marty

Never seen somebody anodize them black, but me and quite a few other people had ours powdercoated black.
(Left the "spikes" stock color so that I wouldn't have to worry about redoing them once a year.

Ah cool, that looks really good. The thought with anodising was that the powder coating would take away the 'points' on the pegs so I wouldn't get the same grip, but it still looks good with them left plain and the rest done.

i was told anodizing would wear off really fast on something like foot pegs.

Another option for you is to just buy a set of aftermarket foot pegs and bolt them up to your stock rearsets.

However in small batches it's REALLY expensive, to the point it'd be cheaper getting new rearsets.
