Front End Swap

Alright, so I figured this would have already been a topic, and it might have... But I was unable to find it in my searches... So if the info is already out there, don't chastise me...

While doing my millions of winter upgrades, after my last low-sided at Jennings, I was trying to straighten the front wheel which is pointing right (low-sided on left). I have had this type of issue before, I'd drop the front wheel, loosen up the triples, relieve the stress or bind, tighten everything back down and put the wheel back on... Problem always solved... But this time it still points right... So i take the left fork off, I notice that there is some crushing in the fork outer tube, where the bottom triple clamps, like it maybe tried to bend a little... But if you look at the fork, it appears totally straight. So I am lost, maybe the damn this is bent, but I figured, if it was, and I reinstalled the fork outer tub to the opposite side (rotating) that it was in when it got damaged, then it should change the box, and I could determine if that was the issue... Well the wheel still points right. So now I am thinking, is maybe the lower tube bent? Cause that part would still be in the same position as when it went down.

So long story short, I am fricken lost... I know my mechanical shit, but maybe I am overlooking something. It is only a track bike, and I was going to replace the triples with some attacks anyways, so can the whole front end be replaced with another brand of bike/forks that will work?

I could either replace just the forks, getting some that have the same diameter and use triumph triples, or I would need something that have the same triple stem length/diameter, and replace the entire front... I was mostly interested in the R6 front end, since I could easily swap the calipers for the r6 calipers at the same time w/o mod.

So what y'all got for me

I believe the Riders Discount bike has either an R6 or R1 front end on it. You can PM TJ and ask.

Yep, RidersDiscount has an R1 front end.

As far as I know there isn't a bike where the forks are a direct swap, you'll have to get a new triple tree while you're at it.

A member on here had the same problem.. Triumph forks are double what he got. I believe he has the 03/04 kawasaki 636 forks work perfectly.. They stick up slightly higher through the triples because they are longer, but really it just gives more adjustment.. He loves them especially for half the cost of triumph forks.
